Nature first
No loud music, no crowds. The resort is deliberately small so that the lagoon, the birds and the night sky stay the main event.
About us
Lake 10 began with a simple idea: keep the land as it is, add just enough comfort, and let the water and the wildlife do the rest.
Where we are
We sit between the Upparu lagoon and Nelum Wewa, in the dry-zone scrub country of the Puttalam District. Wilpattu National Park — Sri Lanka's largest — is roughly an hour away by road. Kalpitiya's dolphins are ninety minutes further.
The resort has four rooms, a pool, and a jetty. Kayaks and bicycles are free for guests to use. Meals are cooked to order, and safaris and boat trips are arranged on request.
What matters to us
No loud music, no crowds. The resort is deliberately small so that the lagoon, the birds and the night sky stay the main event.
Our guides, boatmen and kitchen are from the villages around Eluwankulama. Staying with us keeps that work local.
